Chuck Brown has been dancing for over 12 years and is recognized as one of the top instructors, judges, and competitors throughout North America (and teaching soon in Asia and Europe). He competes at the champion level and has won numerous national awards, including placing four times at the US Open Swing Dance Championships and making finals in the 2004 Pro Strictly Swing. He is known for his incredible "feel for the music", creativity, versatility, and precise leads. Chuck loves to spread his infectious “love of dance” to everyone he teaches. He is known to be a tough teacher that focuses on technique, music, creativity, body movement, and most of all, fun. You often find his workshop students laughing as he interjects comedy while teaching difficult concepts. His dance training includes West Coast Swing, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Carolina Shag, Hustle, Salsa, Lindy, Native American Dance, Country, and many others. He has been accepted into the Masters of Dance program at California State University, Sacramento plans to complete the program by the end of 2007. Chuck has danced for top recording artist; including music videos and stage. He is also hired each year to teach female strippers dance technique, including seductive body movement and music selection. Chuck is the current president and event director of the Reno Dance Sensation - Swing and Salsa Championship and Show (April 20-23, 2006) and his new event, the Hawaii Dance Sensation coming in December 2007.
